How Do I Feed This Seed?
Sunflower hearts are a very versatile seed which can be fed from hanging tube feeders, from bird tables, the ground or any other means your birds enjoy feeding from.
What Birds Like This Seed?
This seed is a firm favourite and is perfect for all garden birds such as robins, blackbirds, dunnocks, blue tits, great tits, chaffinches, sparrows etc.
No Fillers
We try to source only good quality sunflower hearts which are clean and oil dense to deliver maximum nutrition to your garden birds.
Recyclable Packaging:
Our Sunflower Hearts are available in plastic free 15kg Paper Sack and 20kg Paper Sack options. Our smaller bag sizes (1.5kg and 5kg) are made of a recyclable plastic. Absolutely, sunflower hearts are an oil rich energy dense seed that is easily accessible to all birds, making it a great staple seed for all gardens.
Can this seed be fed around pets?
This seed does not contain any sultanas or raisins.
Sunflower Hearts are loved by more varieties of garden birds than any other seed! Making them an ideal choice to feed in most gardens across the UK. Our Sunflower Hearts are a high energy, calorie dense food source for wild birds and are of bakery grade quality.
Sunflower Hearts are dehulled sunflower seeds, meaning they can be eaten by all birds, including soft billed birds like the Robin or Blackbird. Being husk free also means sunflower hearts are a great no mess seed for a tidy garden.
We use sunflower hearts as a base in most of our mixes as they are a real favourite and are a highly nutritious seed containing around 60% oil.
Delivery:
We deliver on our own vehicle to SP10 and SP11 postcodes, whilst orders further afield are sent via Parcelforce. We currently only deliver frozen food via our own vehicle, not national courier. Delivery is a flat rate £5 charge with no minimum order value. Full details including postcode exclusions can be found here.
If ordering frozen goods you must be in to receive the delivery, we will not leave this safe.
Returns:
You have the right to return any unwanted goods up to a maximum period of 30 days after you receive the goods. If you cancel your order after it has been dispatched, you are responsible for returning the goods at your own expense. Frozen food cannot be returned for safety reasons.
